Tips to Clean the Inside of a Car for COVID-19
Being in the health predicament we currently find ourselves in, it’s very important that you take extra care to disinfect your belongings. For those that drive, this includes disinfecting their car. However, it may not be clear how a driver should clean the inside of their car for COVID-19. Here are a few tips you should know to disinfect your vehicle for Coronavirus.
Products You Should and Should NOT Use
Before we cover which products you should be using, let’s cover which products you should never use inside a vehicle. These include all products containing bleach, ammonia, or hydrogen peroxide. While these products can kill COVID-19, you’ll be damaging your vehicle in the process. Instead, try using one of these methods
- Alcohol-based cleaners
- Soap and water
Most alcohol-based cleaners will be in the form of wipes, making it a quick cleaning. Soap and water will work as well, just be sure to not soak the fabric and do not scrub too hard. Scrubbing that is too aggressive may remove dyes or surface coatings.
