i-ACTIVSENSE® SAFETY TECHNOLOGY
With features like standard Smart Brake Support11 (front drive detection) and available Rear Cross Traffic Alert,10 i-Activsense® is a suite of sophisticated safety features5 that can alert you to hazards to help you avoid collisions—or lessen their severity.
When backing up, available Rear Cross Traffic Alert10 helps detect a vehicle approaching from the side and promptly alerts the driver with an audible warning, as well as a visual warning, in either side mirror and the Rear View Monitor.
Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go12 maintains a set speed and minimum following distance from the traffic ahead. If the vehicle you’re following reduces speed, even down to a stop, your vehicle will automatically slow to a stop as needed.
Lane-keep Assist13 adds to the warnings of the Lane Departure Warning System. When it senses a potential unintentional lane departure at speeds of 40 mph or higher, it will perform minor steering corrections to help prevent your vehicle from exiting the lane.
